I am a writer of light-filled high fantasy romance ("romantasy"). See my author website for more information about me and
my books!

Lots of reasons, but basically because in order to make a living writing, a writer has to think about their work as a business. Especially indie authors, who do or hire out every step of the process themselves. I love being creative and writing from the heart, but if I'm going to continue to produce content of the quality I want and at the pace I want, I also have to make a living. (Besides, creative and business mindsets are more mutually compatible and even synergistic than people often claim.) And while I'm in that business mindset, I might as well go all the way and create an official business. So . . . I did.
No, sorry. As an indie author, I'm a one-woman business, and I have my hands full just writing and publishing my own books right now. I really wouldn't be able to do yours justice. :)
There's an abundance of free or low-cost self-publishing resources on the web these days. I hope to create a post on my blog about all the ones I've found helpful, but until I do, just know that you're not alone and that it's more than possible. Just be sure to exhaust the free resources before you start paying for books and exclusive content! And if anyone is selling a quick, guaranteed road to success, it's a scam. If you want to make a living with your writing, it will take lots of research, planning, and hard work, but you can do it!
The Contact page on my author website. :)
That's so kind of you to ask! However, I've made the conscious decision not to have an "author" or "business" social media presence. If you see any profiles with my name, they're either private (for my personal use only) or not me. And if there are any profiles with the name of my company, Lightbound Media (or any variant thereof), they are definitely not me. So the best way to "follow" me is to subscribe to my newsletter, which you can do on the Follow page on my author website.
